Mr Bert Kennet
Bert Kennett’s wife, Isobel, was a lacemaker who ran a lace group in the Eastbourne area known as ‘Kennett’s Klowns’.
He was turning bobbins to supply locally from the late 1970s/early 1980s through to the mid 1990s.
His bobbins have very distinctive heads and tails with the heads featuring two stacked balls and the tails being a medium sized drop.
Bert died in 2002, aged 92.
