David Stanley
David Stanley was a wood turner based in Hertfordshire who attended lace days with bobbins, earring stands and needlework accessories. He attended lace days as far afield as Scotland and the South of England.
Whilst David turned the bobbins, it was his wife, Lynne who painted them.
David is one of two bobbin turners / painters to use the cross bared spangle. The other is Elizabeth van Treirum.
