Jim Newman
Jim Newman was a woodwork teacher from Dunstable who started turning lace bobbins for his lacemaking wife when he retired.
He was one of the first bobbin turners during the lace revial of the late 20th Century; turning bobbins from the late 1960s and throughout the 70s. He sold predominately to to local groups.
His bobbins had a onion head and a medium oval / drop tail
