Garth Johns
Garth was a Northants woodturner from Geddington and in the 1980's/1990's always had a stand at Fenland Lace Days and Fairs at St Ives.
His bobbins were never turned to a specific 'pattern', and varied from piece to piece, so it was difficult to make a matching pair!
He made full-size, travel, and miniature bobbins to make brooches and pendants.

It's been over 30 years since I last saw Garth. We did several fairs together, and he specialised in miniature scale items. He did a lot of business, making things for dollhouse enthusiasts as well as turning beautiful bowls and boxes.
