Elizabeth Anne Carlton (EAC)
Often found on eBay, Elizabeth's bobbins are often painted on SMP bobbins and have her distinctive EAC monogram on them.

She used to work with John Hopgood at Alsager in Cheshire painting his bobbins and came to lace days at Cheshire Bobbin Clickers. We used to supply lacemaking equipment ( Trician Crafts ) and I would see her there. She painted quite a lot of bobbins for me too in the late 80’s and early 90’s.
