Audrey Sells
Audrey Sells sold lace-making equipment, including plastic bobbins. Several group members recall buying from her in the late 1970s.
Many people received her plastic bobbins in their Dryad lacemaking kit during the 1970s
Vicky Page writes:
After Audrey died (around 1984), her husband, Arthur, continued to run the business. He was a regular at Lace Days in North Herts/South Beds and also sold from their home in Clifton, where he welcomed customers with tea, biscuits and lots of chat. He was a dear soul.

Arthur was a lovely man who would tell tales of bobbins buried in back gardens and burnt on bonfires when the desire for handmade lace nosedived. He collected old gramophones. Always welcoming at home in Shefford.
